The YEP website
offers information which is relevant to youth, such as career tools, and can be
accessed on www.youth.org.mt
For those students who are not willing to continue with further
education and would like to look for
full time work we suggest they register with ETC on Part 1 of the
unemployment register. By registering with ETC, youth will be automatically and
instantly informed of new work opportunities. We will match their job
preferences, together with their qualifications, skills and experiences, with
the recruitment needs of companies who register their vacancies with ETC. We
will automatically refer them to these companies, although they would still
need to send the company their CV and application letter.
Our employment advisers will follow them up during their
job search. They will be called for meetings with the youth employment advisors
who will guide them on identifying their training needs, on ETC training
courses and on current work opportunities as well as set up a personal action
plan.
To view the list of
training courses being offered till June 2013 click on the link below:
Booking of courses will take place on a first come first
served basis and priority will be given to unemployed clients registering on
Part 1 of the register.
For first time registration youth should visit us at our
Registration Unit at Kumpless Access, 72, Melita Street , Valletta .
